Job Summary:

MPS Group, Inc. is seeking a skilled CDL/Vac Truck Operator to join our team and contribute to the success of our operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for loading and unloading equipment, setting up and breaking down equipment, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of industrial vacuum trucks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate industrial vacuum trucks, including lifting, carrying, and pulling hoses of up to 100 pounds, climbing on the unit (12 feet high), performing minor maintenance, and standing, kneeling, or bending for long periods of time.
  • Operate high-pressure cleaning equipment, which requires climbing up and down the unit to set up and take down equipment.
  • Check all waste-related paperwork (such as manifests, bills of lading, and land disposal restriction forms) for accuracy and completeness before transport; ensure proper placarding.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols of MPS and the host facility, as well as DOT regulations and all local, state, and federal laws related to the assigned work.
  • Perform manual labor in industrial settings.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • The successful applicant must have a valid Class A or B CDL license and a year of related experience.
  • OSHA 10 certification is mandatory prior to hire (may obtain through company-sponsored program).
