Job Title: Program Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our team at the State of Idaho. As a Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) program, ensuring its effective management and compliance with federal regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of program management, including grant budgeting, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with Community Action Agencies and the Office of Childcare to ensure daily operations meet service delivery standards.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and guidelines to support program objectives.
  • Provide technical assistance and training to staff and external partners.
  • Monitor and evaluate program performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of one year of experience in program management, preferably in a government or non-profit setting.
  • Strong knowledge of federal regulations and grant management principles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing and implementing policies and procedures.
  • Knowledge of budgeting and financial management principles.
  • Experience working with Community Action Agencies and/or federal program grants.
