About the role:

  1. Manage overall architecture, design, implementation, and testing of Cloud platform projects.
  2. Stay up-to-date with cloud technology trends, advancements, and best practices.
  3. Develop and maintain architecture artifacts, design processes, and best practices, providing technical oversight to architects and engineers.
  4. Pilot new solutions and develop proof-of-concept.
  5. Foster cross-functional collaboration and engineering excellence.

About you:

  • Proven experience with agile development processes and methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud service providers, cloud technology trends, cloud development tools, cloud migration, and management, as well as container technologies.
  • A deep understanding of cloud-based data platform architectures, containers, and serverless technologies.
  • Knowledge of cloud native architecture, cloud tooling, DevOps, Networking, and QA.
  • Proven experience with large-scale distributed & cloud-based technologies such as Kubernetes, Hazelcast, Kafka, MySQL, Mongo, Cassandra, Containers, Chef, Splunk, Elastic, and Hadoop.
  • Large-scale software/application development with coding experience in Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, .NET, Python, PHP, etc.
  • Experience managing teams of architects, developers, and analysts.
  • Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills with the ability to work in a global environment and drive consensus in cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills to interface well with clients and partners at all levels.
  • Outstanding communication skills to diverse customer audiences, executives, product, and technology stakeholders.
  • Strong relationship management skills.

Your qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in computer science preferred, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Career experience building enterprise storage services and object storage cloud platforms.

Location: Remote United States; #LI-Remote

The estimated base salary range for this position is $202,000 - $300,000. The individual salary is based on work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

We offer comprehensive benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-and long-term disability, 401(k), employee stock purchase plan, health savings account, dependent care, and healthcare spending accounts. We also offer paid time off, including 12 holidays, flexible time off provided pursuant to our policy, a minimum of 48 hours of paid sick leave, and 16 weeks of paid parental leave. Benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year and may differ depending on work location.
