We are seeking a highly qualified Clinical Medicine Professor to join our team at Lincoln Memorial University. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching, clinical duties, and scholarly activity.
Key Responsibilities- Teach LMU-DCOM approved curriculum and contribute to the attainment of the mission of the University, the School, and the Department.
- Provide clinical service and patient care in the clinical setting.
- Supervise students during clinical educational activities and authorized patient care events.
- Participate in scholarly activity and contribute to the planning, development, and evaluation of courses and academic programs.
- Promote a general atmosphere of respect for knowledge, thought, and inquiry within LMU-DCOM.
- D.O./M.D. degree and Board Certification in Internal Medicine.
- Able to be licensed in Tennessee within the first year of hire date.
- Unrestricted Tennessee license and approved medical professional liability insurance.
- D.O. degree and able to be licensed in Tennessee.
- Minimum of 3 years experience in clinical/academic medicine teaching and leadership.
