Emergency Room Nurse

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Room Registered Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process in accordance with established standards of care, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities:- Develop and implement individualized plans of care that reflect assessment, planning, implementing, and evaluating the outcomes of that plan.
- Ensure patient safety by utilizing the five rights, preventing falls, decubitus prevention, and prevention of nosocomial infections.
- Provide optimal pain control and patient comfort, identifying and discussing patient anxieties, fears, or concerns regarding patient condition, treatment, or discharge.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Current CA RN license.
- BLS certification.
- 6 (six) months recent (within the last 5 years) full-time equivalent in ED or Critical Care, or successful completion of a KP ED training program or approved equivalent within prior 12 months.
- Current ACLS and PALS card required.
