Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Universal Health Services. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating and treating patients with physical, cognitive, or emotional disabilities to help them achieve independence and participate in daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate patients to identify their strengths, weaknesses, and needs
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help patients achieve their goals
  • Administer occupational therapy modalities, such as exercises and activities, to help patients improve their physical and cognitive abilities
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master's degree preferred
  • Current licensure in the State of Texas as an Occupational Therapist required
  • Clinical experience preferred
  • Must have and maintain current BLS certification, according to unit specific needs
