Duties and Responsibilities- Oversee the scheduling activities of the production floor and shipping operations, collaborating closely with the Operations Planner and Plant Manager to adhere to established protocols.
- Supervise all production scheduling tasks within your department to ensure timely loading and shipping of products.
- Plan, coordinate, and schedule departmental activities to fulfill sales orders, maintain inventory levels, and deliver high-quality products punctually.
- Communicate effectively with management regarding line issues, parts shortages, and engineering challenges.
- Maintain regular communication with team members and management to strategize for daily, weekly, and monthly operations.
- Continuously explore innovative solutions to problems while focusing on ongoing improvement initiatives.
- Support team leaders and members in implementing quality and productivity enhancements through continuous improvement projects.
- Assist with Human Resources functions, including employee recruitment, retention strategies, performance evaluations, and the enforcement of company policies.
- Focus on developing systems for labor cost reduction while maximizing operational efficiency.
- Balance safety, quality, productivity, and employee morale to achieve optimal results across all areas.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- A minimum of 4 years of recent experience in a manufacturing environment is required.
- At least 4 years of supervisory or leadership experience is necessary.
- Experience with lean manufacturing principles, continuous improvement, and quality assurance is essential.
- Thorough understanding of team processes is expected.
- Must demonstrate proficiency in a specific area of discipline.
- A background in production planning is preferred.
- Adherence to all company safety policies is mandatory.
- Familiarity with 5S and Rapid Improvement programs is advantageous.
- Quality-driven mindset is essential.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products is required.
- Ability to work under moderate supervision.
- Reports directly to a manager or supervisor.

This position is for the second shift, starting at 2:30 PM and concluding around 11:30 PM to 1:30 AM, depending on business needs.

The base salary range for this full-time position is between $80,000 and $90,000, plus a 5% annual bonus and comprehensive benefits. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location, with individual pay influenced by job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
