Job Title: Regional Operations Director

Job Summary:

The Regional Operations Director will oversee the successful operation of the LG NOVA West Virginia branch office in Morgantown, reporting directly to the LG NOVA New Business Supporting Team in Santa Clara, California. This dynamic role will be responsible for managing and fostering business development efforts in West Virginia, cultivating strong relationships with key stakeholders, and creating opportunities for our newly created businesses to thrive in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the local branch office, including facilities management, IT infrastructure, and procurement.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and local regulations related to business operations, safety, and employment practices.
  • Manage budgets, resources, and staffing levels to achieve operational efficiency and financial targets.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive business development strategy for the region, aligned with LG NOVA and its new business' overall growth objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and lead generation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, partners, and industry influencers in the region.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and community gatherings.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience (required)
  • At least 10 years' experience in relationship and/or business development for corporate or government clients (required)
  • At least 10 years of familiarity with and experience in new technology trends (AI, ML, etc.) (required)
  • Previous experience in a Business Development Director role (Preferred)
  • A self-starter with the experience in leading or operating businesses in the area of healthcare IT or energy (Preferred)
