- Ensures the confidentiality of sensitive information in accordance with company policies and state laws.
- Complies with the guidelines established by the Virginia Racing Commission (VRC) and Colonial Downs Group, LLC, concerning customer service and financial transactions.
- Offers assistance at a wagering window with professionalism and integrity, avoiding personal betting.
- Operates a teller terminal and manages a cash drawer effectively.
- Processes bets and issues wagering tickets with precision.
- Cash out winning tickets, verifying their authenticity and worth.
- Takes full accountability for cash handling and potential discrepancies.
- Observes patrons to prevent underage gambling.
- Refers customer complaints to the supervisor as necessary.
- Addresses issues within the scope of authority and escalates others to the supervisor.
- Keeps the supervisor updated on pertinent activities.
- Performs additional assigned responsibilities as needed.
- Participate in mandatory training sessions.
- Acquire and maintain required licenses.
- Ensure adherence to local laws and regulations.
- Prevent minors from participating in restricted activities.
- Understand relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
- Be knowledgeable about the Property's responsible gaming initiatives.
- Report any observed misconduct.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Virginia Racing Commission License is mandatory.
