Research Project Associate Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Project Associate to support our Early Drug Development service at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the pre-study start-up process for all protocols within the service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform data collection and data analysis for research projects, databases, and research protocols within the service.
  • Responsible for study start-up data/project management activities leading up to the protocol activation core team, including creating study tools and tracking service-specific metrics.
  • Will serve as the liaison between Sponsors and the service during the pre-study start-up phase.
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of Clinical Research/Project Management experience.
Core Skills:
  • Extensive knowledge and understanding of the regulations pertaining to human subject protection (including 21 CFR and 45 CFR 46 of the United States Code of Federal Regulations) and Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).
  • Outstanding attention to detail and strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Planning and prioritizing work to meet commitments aligned with organizational goals.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving to ensure unforeseen issues are handled appropriately and resolved in a timely fashion.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact across all levels in a confident, professional manner.
  • Enthusiasm and dedication to MSK's vision, mission, and values.
