Ethos Veterinary Health is in search of a dedicated Veterinary Technician with experience in emergency care to enhance our team. In this vital role, you will contribute significantly to delivering exceptional care to our animal patients. Your duties will encompass assisting veterinarians during examinations and procedures, conducting laboratory tests, administering medications, and providing empathetic support to both animals and their owners.

We are pleased to offer a sign-on bonus totaling $2,500. After 90 days of successful employment, a bonus of $1,000 will be awarded. Following 6 months of successful employment, an additional bonus of $1,500 will be provided. Eligibility for the sign-on bonus requires commencement of employment by a specified date.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist veterinarians with examinations, surgeries, and various medical procedures.
- Conduct laboratory tests including blood work, urinalysis, and fecal analysis.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as prescribed by veterinarians.
- Prepare animals for surgery and monitor their anesthesia during procedures.
- Perform X-ray imaging and develop images.
- Provide post-operative care and oversee patient recovery.
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care and address their inquiries.

Qualifications:
- Certification as a Veterinary Technician or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Experience in an emergency, critical care, or hospital environment is highly desirable.
- Proficient in animal handling and restraint techniques.
- Familiarity with veterinary medical terminology and procedures.
- Knowledge of laboratory equipment and procedures.

Availability:
