Job Title: Engineer Associate IV/KTC

Join the Kentucky Transportation Center (KTC) as an Engineer Associate IV/KTC and contribute to multidisciplinary transportation research and development. As a key member of our team, you will work on a broad range of topics, including highway design, project management, pavement design and maintenance, infrastructure assessment, and construction management.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of transportation systems. The ideal candidate will have a PhD in a relevant field and be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively, in a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office products and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and analysis in transportation systems, including highway design, project management, and infrastructure assessment.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to complex transportation problems.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Communicate research findings and results to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and other means.
