Key Responsibilities:
1. Interpret and understand production schedules and coating specifications.

2. Apply coatings to raw materials based on client guidelines.

3. Measure and document paint viscosity accurately.

4. Utilize knowledge of volume solids and resins in coating applications.

5. Adjust roll speeds for specific vendor and resin systems.

6. Inspect equipment such as risers, headers, and nozzles to ensure optimal performance.

7. Maintain sufficient paint levels in the application systems.

8. Adjust strip guides as necessary.

9. Identify and resolve application defects promptly.

10. Record paint usage meticulously for order and container tracking.

11. Modify catenary settings to reduce strip drags in the drying ovens.

12. Operate hold down mechanisms effectively to coat uneven edges.

13. Clean application equipment including heads, pans, and pumps.

14. Manage the start-up and shut-down processes of ovens.

15. Collaborate with line operators to connect coil strips efficiently.
