Join Aspen Medical as a Certified Nurse Anesthetist

Aspen Medical is seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Nurse Anesthetist to collaborate in delivering essential medical services to UN-sponsored personnel and US Government staff at a field hospital.

Position Overview:
This role involves a rotational contract, ideally structured as three months of service followed by one month off. The medical team will operate from a secure, specially designed camp and hospital facility.

Support Services:
All necessary support services, including accommodation, meals, travel, and internet access, will be provided by the US Government.

Facility Details:
Aspen Medical will establish a Level 2 Field Hospital equipped with Emergency Medical Services (EMS), Pre-Hospital Care, Surgical, Diagnostic, and Laboratory services, adhering to US clinical standards.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Citizenship: Candidates must be US citizens or Green Card holders. Sponsorship is not available.
  • Educational Background: A graduate or higher-level degree from an accredited nursing program is required, along with completion of an accredited nurse anesthesia educational program recognized by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists (AANA).
  • Certification: Candidates must hold board certification from the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA).
  • Licensure: A current, valid, unrestricted advanced practice nursing license in a US state or territory is mandatory.
  • Continuing Education: Compliance with the AANA's continuing education unit (CEU) requirement of 40 CEUs every two years is essential.
  • Experience: A minimum of 36 months of post-training experience in administering and monitoring various anesthesia types is required.
  • Life Support Certification: Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) is necessary.

This position operates under a 1099 contractor agreement, offering a fixed daily rate during active rotation periods. Please note that compensation is not provided during off-rotation periods.
