We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic CT Technologist to join our team at Cone Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and producing high-quality images using advanced computerized x-ray equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Operate head or body x-ray scanners to produce computer-generated cross-sectional images
- Perform routine and special CT exams adhering to established protocols to minimize additional imaging and limit radiation dose
- Complete all exams and documentation in Computerized Health Information (CHL) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS)
- Educate and prepare patients for their examinations to enhance patient understanding and cooperation
- Demonstrate commitment to safe practices, Just Culture, and As Low As Reasonably Achievable (ALARA) principles
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program
- Valid licensure/certification in Radiologic Technology (RT) or Nuclear Medicine Technology (NMTCB)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
