Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist/CT Technologist to join our team at Cone Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care during Computed Tomography (CT) procedures and diagnostic imaging examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and special CT and diagnostic exams adhering to established protocols to minimize additional imaging and limit radiation dose.
  • Follow instructions from physicians regarding which area of the patient's body needs imaging.
  • Talk the patient through the procedure and answer questions to lower their anxiety and increase their understanding of the procedure.
  • Position the patient correctly and adjust the imaging equipment to the specified position to create quality images of specific parts of the body.
  • Review and assess patient medical histories to determine appropriate imaging parameters for accurate results.
  • Operate and maintain advanced CT equipment, adhering to safety protocols and conducting regular maintenance checks to ensure precise and reliable imaging results.
  • Record and document all CT scans and associated information in Computerized Health Information (CHL) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS), verifying charges and addressing discrepancies for smooth workflow.
Qualifications
  • EDUCATION: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent; Graduate of a Radiology, Imaging or related educational program
  • EXPERIENCE: LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION/REGISTRY/LISTING: Required: BLS (CPR)-American Red Cross or AHA Healthcare Provider
