Role Overview:

The RDC Shipping Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating the shipping, receiving, and inventory management processes within the Regional Distribution Center (RDC). This position involves overseeing shipping and receiving documentation, conducting cycle counts, managing claims, and handling return-to-vendor (RTV) procedures, while also providing support to the Inventory Lead.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective inventory management throughout the RDC shipping and receiving operations, including documentation and reconciliation.
  • Conduct cycle counts and manage comprehensive inventory tasks within the RDC.
  • Work collaboratively across departments to guarantee precise inventory handling.
  • Identify and resolve issues impacting inventory accuracy.
  • Coordinate with operational teams, RDCs, contractors, and third-party logistics providers to facilitate seamless operations.
  • Address customer inquiries and complaints professionally and efficiently.
  • Maintain thorough records related to shipping, receiving, and inventory management.
  • Complete RTV documentation as necessary.
  • Support and motivate the RDC team in a fast-paced and demanding environment.

  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to influence, listen, and communicate effectively with diverse groups.
  • Exceptional customer service capabilities.

  • Ability to operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts.
