We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced RN Clinical Research Coordinator to join our team at Guthrie. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for coordinating multiple in-patient and out-patient clinical research protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate individual clinical research projects in multiple disease conditions
- Meet sponsor specific training requirements prior to initiation and ensure team members have met sponsor training
- Train team members to delegated duties and support regulatory specialist with sponsor communications
- Maintain study supply inventory and support monitors during visits
- Develop or advance investigators plans and collaborate with manager and executive director for department research programs
- Assist with feasibility, site selection, IRB document review, and corresponding with investigators, IRB, and sponsors
- Coordinate study protocol procedure events and treatment planning with the investigator
- Review medical history for eligibility, educate patients to study requirements, register participants to the project, and organize patient visits
- Administer and dispense investigational medication ordered for patients by a licensed physician in the dosage prescribed by protocol
- New York RN license
- Five years clinical experience in the disease specialty of research or Bachelor of Science degree with 3 years full time nursing experience or Certification as a Clinical Research professional
- Desire certification in the disease specialty being studied or as a Clinical Research Professional
- Three years full time experience in the nursing field required
