About the Role:

As a Behavior Therapist at Dragonfly Cognitive Development and Consulting, you will play a vital role in helping children with special needs and on the autism spectrum develop essential behavioral skills and reduce problematic behaviors.

We utilize evidence-based interventions grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) to foster effective communication, social, and daily living skills in our patients. You will work in various settings, including homes, schools, and community-based environments, under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs
  • Collecting and recording data on patient progress
  • Providing support and guidance as needed

Requirements:

  • Ability to accept feedback and adapt to new skills
  • Effective time management and organization skills
  • Strong professional relationships and communication skills
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality
  • Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
  • Valid driver's license
