Position Overview

The Levy Company is seeking a qualified Safety & Field Trainer to lead training initiatives for field personnel on essential safety and technical subjects. This role involves overseeing field operations, offering constructive feedback, and suggesting practices to enhance safety and risk management protocols.

Key Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  1. Designing and implementing impactful training sessions.
  2. Coordinating logistics for training events, ensuring proper communication and setup.
  3. Creating and maintaining educational materials and learning plans.
  4. Facilitating the use of training management systems.
  5. Monitoring employee training requirements and tracking completed courses.
  6. Communicating available training opportunities and guiding participation.
  7. Collaborating with management to effectively deliver training content.
  8. Acquiring necessary instructional materials and equipment for training purposes.
Qualifications

Required:

  1. A minimum of two years in a training capacity or a leadership role in construction that involved on-the-job training.
  2. A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution (consideration may be given for substantial relevant experience in lieu of a degree).
  3. A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.

Preferred:

  1. Certification as an OSHA trainer.
  2. Possession of a Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  3. Experience with safety management systems like HCSS Safety.
  4. Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and English.

  1. Comprehensive understanding of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.

Work Environment
