Key Responsibilities
  • Welcoming and registering patients with accuracy and efficiency, including the collection of co-payments and gathering necessary registration details.
  • Safeguarding patient rights by ensuring the confidentiality of personal and financial information.
  • Managing patient flow and overseeing the waiting area to ensure a smooth experience.
  • Handling incoming calls, scheduling appointments, and addressing patient inquiries effectively.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to facilitate seamless patient care.
  • Maintaining a tidy and organized front-desk environment.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and electronic medical record systems.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-focused role is preferred.
  • BLS certification is preferred.
  • Understanding of insurance summary data is advantageous.
