We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietary Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our hospital's food service department, you will be responsible for directing food production, preparation, and service when the supervisor is unavailable.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Establish and implement policies, procedures, and departmental objectives to ensure efficient and effective food service operations.

* Supervise departmental personnel and oversee all functions, including food service to patients, hospital staff members, and the public.

* Develop and maintain knowledge of food service operations, including food safety and sanitation practices.

* Collaborate with other hospital departments to ensure seamless food service delivery.

* Develop and implement training programs for departmental personnel.

**Requirements:**

* High School graduate or equivalent.

* Leadership and management abilities, effective oral and written communication skills, and knowledge of food service operations.

* Food Handler's card must be obtained and current.

* Moderate periods of walking and standing, some bending, stooping, and reaching for food items and equipment, and lifting up to 40 pounds.

**Experience:**

* Two years or more as a dietary cook.

* Technical training in creating food orders for food vendors, operating computers, and performing Nutritional Screenings and Nutritional Assessments through current EMR.
