Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Hospitality: Greet guests with a warm welcome and a fond farewell; engage them in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner.
  • Wine Service: Provide exceptional guest hospitality and service to ensure guests enjoy their experience. Provide recommendations and descriptions of wines to guests based on their preferences and taste profiles.
  • Order Processing: Process orders on the Point of Sale and ensure accuracy in orders and timely delivery.
  • Food and Beverage Service: Present food menus, describe menu items, and take food orders from guests. Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food orders.
  • Wine Knowledge: Continuously expand your knowledge of Orfila wines, vineyard practices, and winemaking processes to provide informative and engaging experiences for guests.
  • Customer Service: Uphold all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
Requirements
  • Age Requirement: Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Experience: Previous experience in hospitality, customer service, or food and beverage service preferred.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, lift and carry trays of wine glasses and bottles, and bend, stoop, and reach frequently.
