Low Voltage Data Technician

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Data Technician to join our team at Next Level Technician in Columbia, SC. As a Low Voltage Data Technician, you will be responsible for installing and terminating low voltage data cabling systems in commercial environments. Your expertise in structured cabling projects will be essential in delivering high-quality solutions to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Pull, terminate, dress, and label CAT5e/6 cable
- Installation and termination of fiber optic cable (a plus)
- Test all installed cable using appropriate testing equipment
- Install and terminate racks, cable trays, patch panels, cabinets, MDF/IDF, workstation outlets, and firestopping
- Read and interpret low voltage data layouts from blueprints
Requirements:
- 3+ years of commercial and/or industrial low voltage experience
- OSHA 10 certification required
- Manufacturer, lift, and BICSI certifications are a plus
