Position Overview:

We are on the lookout for a skilled and enthusiastic Production | Post-Production Intern. This role presents a remarkable opportunity to enhance your abilities in a vibrant setting dedicated to producing exceptional content, particularly around our luxury experiential events.

If you are a versatile individual—perhaps an aspiring director who both shoots and edits your projects, or a budding cinematographer who edits a director's vision, or even an editor who enjoys camera operation—this position is tailored for you.

Key Responsibilities:

Cinematography:
  • A strong passion for cinematography.
  • Proficient and confident in operating digital cinema cameras; MATTE provides access to equipment such as the ARRI Mini and Sony FS7.
  • Experience in handling high-end equipment with care.
  • A keen eye for capturing visually captivating content.
  • Familiarity with various camera and lens setups.
  • Interest in emerging camera technologies is advantageous.
Editing:
  • A strong passion for editing.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Contribute effectively to the editing workflow to ensure high-quality outcomes.
  • Ability to take constructive feedback and implement changes.
Production Support:
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Creative input in conceptualizing ideas and collaborating with the production team to execute innovative concepts.
  • Basic knowledge of grip and electric (G&E) tasks to assist in production as needed.
  • Proper handling and maintenance of camera and lighting equipment to ensure longevity and optimal performance.
  • Efficiently transport and set up equipment, especially in busy environments.
  • Maintain organization and responsibility for lighting and camera gear on set.
Qualifications:
  • Must be currently enrolled in a university or Master's program.
  • High proficiency in operating cinema cameras is essential.
  • Editing experience is required.
  • Strong creative vision with a passion for producing captivating content.
  • Basic understanding of Grip and Electric (G&E) tasks.
  • Ability to manage and maintain camera and lighting equipment with care.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and video editing software is required.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, with availability for evening work as necessary.
  • Ability to adapt swiftly to changing situations and work environments, often independently.
  • Experience in high-traffic shooting environments and independent work is beneficial.
