Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled ALM Support Specialist to join our team at BKOutlooks. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing top-notch support to our users on ALM tool-related topics, including tool usage, issue resolution, and customization.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first-point-of-contact support to users on ALM tool-related topics
Administer QC server licenses, create new users, and set up new projects
Monitor and report on usage
Customize Quality Center to meet business needs
Collaborate with engineering domains to support ALM tool-related topics
Deploy current and new tool suites to engineering projects
Develop training materials and train users on ALM tool usage
Support users by creating tool-related scripting and automation of repetitive tasks
Extract charts and dashboards from ALM tools
Monitor and extract audit reports from ALM tools
Pilot new tools, perform tests with IT organization before upgrade or new tool rollout
Perform administrative tasks for Application Maintenance
Install, upgrade, and design Microfocus QC/ALM/Octane environments
Migrate projects to latest version of application
Implement new patches
Validate and verify upgraded environments and projects
Communicate technical and non-technical information to various audiences

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
6+ years related experience
Experience in managing licenses, creating users, and setting up projects
Proficiency in VB scripting and Microfocus QC/ALM OTA API
Experience with automating repetitive tasks and tool-related scripting
Ability to write and execute SQL queries for data extraction, reporting, and customization
Experience integrating ALM with Micro Focus and third-party tools
Ability to configure dashboards, develop custom reports, and create workflow designs
Experience migrating projects to newer versions of ALM and maintaining ongoing usage
