Key Responsibilities
  • Assess eligibility and benefits, manage pre-authorization protocols, explore available payment options, provide financial counseling, and execute other financial clearance-related tasks.
  • Engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure patients are financially cleared for their required care.
  • Identify and escalate any financial clearance challenges to the supervisor or coordinator for prompt resolution.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as needed.
Essential Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in healthcare, insurance, or a related sector. Candidates with a preferred degree may qualify with one year of experience.
Preferred Qualifications
  • An associate degree in business, healthcare, or a related field; candidates with a preferred degree may qualify with one year of the required experience.
  • Five years of professional experience in healthcare, insurance, or multi-specialty physician practices.
  • Certification as a CHAA or CHAM is advantageous.
