Laura Solomon & Associates, a leading firm dedicated to serving tax-exempt organizations and philanthropic individuals, is seeking a highly skilled Attorney to join our team. We are open to candidates from various locations and offer flexible work arrangements. The ideal candidate will be licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania or have the ability to waive into the state bar. New York, New Jersey, and Delaware Bar admissions are highly desirable due to our client base.

As a Tax Attorney for Nonprofits, you will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of tax-exempt organizations, including public charities, private foundations, trade associations, and other nonprofits. Our firm is recognized as a leader in the charitable sector and serves as outside general counsel to hundreds of clients locally, nationally, and internationally.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Attorney with a strong background in tax law, corporate law, trusts and estates, and real estate law. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of applicable legal experience, with large law firm experience strongly preferred. A knowledge base in the following areas is essential:

  • Corporate law, including incorporation, Bylaw and Resolution drafting, and nonprofit corporate and transactional experience
  • Federal taxation
  • Trusts and estates, including Orphans Court and charitable gift planning
  • Real estate law

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both orally and in writing, and be able to explain complex legal concepts to non-lawyers. Strong legal and business judgment, excellent research and analytical skills, and a positive, decisive, and hardworking attitude are essential.
