Accel at Longmont in Longmont, CO is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to lead our team in delivering high-quality patient care.

The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the delivery of patient care in accordance with facility clinical systems, regulatory requirements, and physician orders.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act.
  • Evaluating staffing pattern needed to meet the needs of the residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
  • Administering medication/treatments as prescribed.
  • Receiving, transcribing, and implementing physician's orders.
  • Implementing and evaluating care plans.
  • Identifying/securing equipment supplies and directing/overseeing in-duty assignments.
  • Organizing/coordinates subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments.
  • Overseeing/monitoring function and activities of subordinate staff.
  • Evaluating staff performance and institutes appropriate action discipline/training.
  • Monitoring infection control compliance.
  • Investigating/documents accidents/incidents.

Requirements include:

  • Current, valid licensure as a RN required.
  • Experience in long-term healthcare preferred.
  • Management/Supervisory experience required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed.
  • Strong written and verbal skills required.

Accel at Longmont offers a competitive compensation package, including base pay of $46.00 per hour (experience-based), as well as supplemental pay, benefits, and paid time off.
