Home Health Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

LHC Group is seeking a highly skilled Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team in Longmont, Colorado. As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing occupational therapy to patients in their homes to restore them to their fullest physical ability.
Responsibilities:- Provide occupational therapy to patients in their homes to restore them to their fullest physical ability.
- Follow the established plan of care and work within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant.
- Observe, record, and report to the supervising OT, nurse supervisor, and/or physician the patient's response to treatment and changes in the patient's condition.
- Coordinate care with other members of the healthcare team as appropriate.
- Instruct patient, family, caregiver, and other members of the healthcare team in the areas of therapy within the scope of the occupational therapy assistant.
- Current OTA licensure in the state of Colorado.
- Current CPR certification.
- Current driver's license and vehicle insurance, and access to a dependable vehicle or public transportation.
