Job Summary

The Hospitality Aide works under the supervision of a Licensed nurse to assist in caring for our residents by performing numerous non-medical tasks. This role contributes to the goals of the department by being accountable for the delivery of compassionate, safe care and demonstrated commitment to continuous growth and professional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performs delegated non-medical activities using specific competencies for the patient population served.
  • Assists in meeting the non-medical needs of the resident in collaboration with the care team to ensure quality, cost-effective safe resident care practices.
  • Performs basic tasks such as making beds, stripping rooms, passing water and snacks, resident laundry, etc.
  • Respectfully addresses situations to ensure resident concerns and needs are met.
  • Identifies ways to improve the resident's experience of care, streamline care processes, and lower costs to improve resident, family, and team member satisfaction.
  • Identifies and escalates resident risk to prevent crises.
  • Demonstrates professional and therapeutic relationships with residents, families, team members, and providers.
  • Responds to resident call lights.
  • Assists in transporting residents to in-facility activities.
Qualifications

We are looking for a supportive, caring, and detail-oriented individual who is able to move freely and lift up to a maximum of fifty (50) pounds without assistance. A school diploma or equivalent certificate is preferred.
