Position Overview:

The Seasonal Community Support Coordinator plays a vital role in fostering relationships with donors to enhance the in-kind and financial contributions to our organization. This position requires strong interpersonal skills, organizational abilities, and a commitment to our mission.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Customer Service Excellence: Facilitate communication with potential and existing donors, coordinating collection drives and ensuring clarity in scheduling.
  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of donor interactions using our management system, supporting operational needs through diligent data entry and reporting.
  • Donor Relationship Management: Assist in the cultivation and stewardship of donor relationships, making and receiving calls to engage with donors effectively.
  • Commitment to Values: Uphold the mission and values of Metropolitan Ministries in all interactions, ensuring transparency and ethical practices in donor communications.
  • Industry Knowledge: Stay informed about nonprofit fundraising strategies and participate in team meetings to enhance collaborative efforts.
Qualifications:

Ideal candidates will possess a minimum of an Associate's degree or equivalent experience in customer service or nonprofit development. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in relevant software applications.

Skills Required:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Familiarity with CRM databases and Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements:

Applicants should be able to perform physical tasks associated with the role, including standing for extended periods and lifting moderate weights.
