Job Title: System Engineer - Integrated Fires Mission Command

Quantum Research International is seeking a highly skilled System Engineer to support the Integrated Fires Mission Command (IFMC) Air & Missile Defense (AMD) Mission Command Product Office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with contractors, government civilians, and system operators to develop system-level concepts that address complex problems.
  • Lead reviews and adjudicate comments on these concepts, ensuring they meet performance and acceptance criteria.
  • Utilize model-based system engineering (MBSE) approaches to drive concept development.

Requirements:

  • US Citizen and resident of the Huntsville, AL area or willing to relocate.
  • 3-7 years of progressively complex experience in system engineering or related fields.
  • Experience in two or more areas: tactical command and control systems, tactical weapons systems, tactical sensor systems, hardware, requirement decomposition, or MBSE tools and languages.
  • Strong technical background in system engineering principles and ability to work in an Agile environment.
  • US Secret security clearance with possibilities of working at higher classification levels.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience in support of DoD programs, especially in Army Air and Missile Defense.
  • Hands-on experience creating models in Cameo or MagicDraw using SysML and UAF.
  • Atlassian tool experience, such as Jira and Confluence, and SAFe Agile experience.
