Job Summary

System Dynamics International Inc is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team in Huntsville, AL. As a Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the analysis and development of complex systems, ensuring their safety and effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and review technical engineering documents
  • Perform system/subsystem hazard analysis and modeling using MBSE (Cameo EA)
  • Assess prototype aircraft and apply MBSE tools to validate requirements
  • Support flight test events and perform requirements analysis and development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system logic is consistent and compliant with safety requirements
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline or related field, or equivalent experience/combined education
  • 5 years of professional experience in Systems Engineering, or 3 years with a related Master's degree
  • Experience developing and reviewing technical engineering documents
  • Ability to translate requirements into system/subsystem functions and configuration logic
  • US Citizenship required, with ability to acquire a Secret security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in System Safety Engineering processes, with strong technical skills in performing hazard analyses and identifying safety requirements
  • Experience with DoD/Military/Commercial Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS)
  • Experience developing, formatting, analyzing, tracing, decomposing, refining, and modeling requirements
  • Technical writing experience
  • Experience performing Trade Studies
