Swim Instructor Opportunity

The Clermont Family YMCA is seeking a skilled Swim Instructor to join their aquatics team. As a Swim Instructor, you will provide expert guidance and motivation to students, helping them achieve their swimming goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Instruct swim lessons as assigned, adhering to YMCA guidelines and developing lesson plans accordingly.
  • Build positive relationships with participants, providing supportive and encouraging guidance.
  • Encourage member and parent involvement, conveying basic program and schedule information as needed.
  • Maintain accurate progress reports and attendance records.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years of age.
  • CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications must be maintained throughout employment.
  • YMCA Swim Instructor or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to instruct participants on swimming skills and stroke techniques.

Compensation:

Starting pay is $13/hour.
