We are seeking a highly skilled Datacenter and Network Architect to join our Information Technology Group. As a key member of our team, you will design and implement information systems that support our IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and operate optimal datacenter and server rooms.
  • Participate in ongoing new datacenter and server room design projects.
  • Coordinate datacenter and network services for new research labs and changes.
  • Monitor datacenter operations and environmental controls to ensure uninterrupted service.
  • Identify and manage the current status of assets related to data centers and networks.
  • Utilize datacenter and network management best practices and tools to investigate and resolve related performance issues.
  • Identify and manage the overall status of the datacenter, network, and related services.
  • Establish an optimal management process.
  • Define and document architectural standards, patterns, and best practices for datacenter and network-related solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions into the overall IT ecosystem.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant industry experience or Master's degree with 3+ years or PhD in Industrial Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a datacenter and network administrator.
  • Experience in participating in and promoting new datacenter construction projects.
  • Proficiency in networking topologies, setup, and testing high-speed networks commonly used in data center environments.
  • Ability to identify complex problems, review information to develop and evaluate options, and propose solutions.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office, including skills with Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Experience in customer support or quality assurance is a plus.
