About the Role

At Altec Industries, we are seeking a skilled Vehicle Component Assembler to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for installing and assembling vehicle components to meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install and assemble vehicle components and accessories according to specifications
  • Read and interpret schematics and work orders to understand customer requirements
  • Test installed components to ensure they meet quality and safety standards
  • Operate various equipment and tools, including tape measures and specialty equipment
  • Perform rework as required and support APS initiatives
  • Assist in training new associates and cross-train in other work areas as needed
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to established safety and quality policies
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Ability to read, write, and perform basic computer tasks
  • Ability to read tape measures, blueprints, and schematics
