Position Summary

We are currently seeking a Federal Security Services Officer. As a vital member of our team, you will be entrusted with safeguarding sensitive information and ensuring the protection of classified personnel. This role includes specialized training tailored to site-specific security protocols aligned with your clearance level, promoting both skill enhancement and professional advancement in the security sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional security services, ensuring the safety of personnel, property, and confidential information with utmost professionalism.
  • Conduct thorough patrols throughout the facility, whether on foot, bicycle, or vehicle, to maintain the security of individuals and sensitive data.
  • Welcome guests and staff, providing escort services for visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points.
  • Adhere to site-specific performance guidelines and post orders; report safety issues, security breaches, and unusual incidents through written and verbal communication to clients and/or fellow security personnel.
  • Respond to and evaluate security alarms or emergency situations.
  • Act as a first responder during emergencies.
Qualifications (Required):
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or five years of verifiable experience.
  • Ability to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) security clearance.
  • Licensing requirements may vary based on state and/or local regulations and may be necessary prior to employment.
  • Must possess one or more of the following:
    • A minimum of three years of security experience at a Department of Defense-cleared site.
    • Prior military experience.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age (or older if required by state law).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with exceptional interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient customer service skills.
  • Intermediate computer skills to utilize innovative, wireless technology at client-specific locations.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
  • Previous law enforcement or armed security experience.
  • Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field.
