About the Job

The Territory Manager II plays a crucial role in developing and executing sales plans to exceed revenue and market penetration goals. As part of our regional sales team, you will work closely with clinical and sales teammates to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities by creating competency, comfort, and expertise with Abbott therapies among physicians, support staff, and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Identify strategies to increase referrals of Abbott therapies and overcome barriers restricting national growth and adoption.
  2. Incorporate accounts, build trust, and establish strong relationships with new and existing customers, key opinion leaders, and industry leaders.
  3. Generate additional sales revenue by running initiatives targeted at increasing eligible patient referrals.
  4. Collect and analyze information about new and existing products, monitoring competitor sales, prices, and products.
  5. Ensure prompt follow-up of sales leads, investigation of complaints, and timely completion and filing of standard reports.
  6. Foster high-trust relationships with colleagues, including regional teams and area leadership.
  7. Conduct evaluations and develop sales strategies for capital equipment opportunities within accounts.
  8. Coordinate implanting schedules of aligned Territory Managers and Clinical Specialists.
  9. Interact with patients up to 50% of the time.
  10. Demonstrate fiscal responsibility by effectively managing consigned inventory used in the territory.
  11. Analyze sales statistics, prepare reports, and perform required administrative sales duties.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
  • At least 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the medical devices industry.
  • Ability and willingness to travel within assigned areas on a regular basis.
  • Capacity to work an unpredictable schedule that may change on short notice.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills with the ability to communicate effectively at multiple levels and to large groups.
  • Capability to manage multiple projects and tight deadlines.

Estimated Salary: $40,200.00 – $99,900.00.
