Key Responsibilities:- Assist surgeons and other medical staff during surgical procedures, maintaining a safe and efficient operating room environment.
- Prepare and maintain surgical equipment, instruments, and supplies, adhering to strict sterile protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure seamless care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes and satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in orthopedic care.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) is mandatory.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist in an orthopedic setting, preferably in a hospital or healthcare environment.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Our Surgical Technologist will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with variable 10-hour shifts, Monday through Friday. Shifts will rotate between 7am-5pm and 9am-7pm, with no weekends, holidays, or call requirements.
