Job Summary

The Surgical Technologist II is a key member of the surgical team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced operating room environment. This role requires strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as the ability to maintain a sterile environment and assist with surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists during surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments and equipment
  • Ensure a sterile environment is maintained throughout the procedure
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Provide education and training to new staff members
Requirements
  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • Graduate of an approved surgical technologist program
  • Current certification in basic CPR
  • Minimum one year of acute care operating room experience
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
