Position Summary
As a Recreation Attendant, your primary responsibility will be to maintain cleanliness and safety in the pool area.
Foster a welcoming and enjoyable environment for guests by demonstrating a positive and energetic demeanor.
Monitor activities within the recreational facility and respond appropriately to emergencies in line with established protocols.
Ensure compliance with facility rules and regulations, and be vigilant for any situations that may compromise guest safety, reporting concerns to management as necessary. Provide assistance to guests in need until professional medical help arrives. Maintain the supply of towels by obtaining, folding, and organizing them according to company standards.Document any incidents, injuries, or unsafe conditions to management; complete necessary safety training and certifications.
Adhere to company policies and procedures; maintain a professional appearance and demeanor; protect confidential information; safeguard company assets.
Greet and acknowledge all guests in accordance with company standards; proactively address service needs; assist guests with disabilities; express gratitude to guests sincerely.
Communicate effectively with colleagues using clear and professional language. Build and sustain positive working relationships with team members. Ensure compliance with quality assurance standards. Read and verify information in various formats (e.g., small print). Conduct visual inspections of tools and equipment to identify any defects. Utilize computers and/or point of sale systems to access work-related information. Safely move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance. Demonstrate fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination to manipulate objects of varying sizes and weights. Navigate sloping, uneven, or slippery surfaces, as well as stairs and service ramps. Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Perform additional reasonable job duties as assigned.Preferred Qualifications
