Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Interior Design team in San Diego, CA. This individual will lead a creative and dynamic team of designers, managing all aspects of projects across various sectors, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Director of Interior Design to lead projects of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Take ownership of problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Lead project review meetings, providing concise and accurate information to improve team performance and project delivery.
  • Foster a positive team atmosphere, supporting the growth and retention of quality staff.
  • Act as primary client contact, managing all aspects of projects to ensure timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Support business development activities and identify new opportunities associated with existing projects and clients.
  • Participate in client meetings with confidence and proficiency.
  • Assist the Director in developing project scope, fees, and budgets during the marketing and contract development process.
  • Direct the design process from programming to construction administration, ensuring design intent is carried out.
  • Manage the execution and delivery of implementation documents throughout all project phases.
  • Develop detailed project schedules and communicate key deliverable dates to the project team.
  • Initiate, document, and maintain project setup, including contract review, project procedures, and work authorizations.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience as a Project Manager for Interior Design projects.
  • 5+ years of experience leading teams of creative professionals.
  • Completion of a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture from an accredited program.
  • CIDQ or NCIDQ certification is a plus.
  • Civic and Education experience is preferred.
  • Mixed-use residential and affordable housing experience is a plus.
  • Commitment to professional growth and development.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without any restrictions or visa sponsorship.
What We Offer:

We provide a competitive compensation package based on experience and qualifications, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a Flexible Spending plan, Employee Stock Ownership Plan, and 401k. Salary range: $100,000 to $130,000 depending on qualifications.
