We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Ultrasound Technologist PRN to join our team at Fairview Park Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality ultrasound exams for interpretation by our radiologists.
Key Responsibilities- Perform ultrasound exams on patients of all ages, from infants to geriatric patients, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain and apply current ultrasound standards and clinical competency, including age-specific knowledge.
- Apply critical thinking skills to prioritize and problem-solve in a fast-paced imaging environment.
- Provide quality patient care, quality control, and patient documentation, while maintaining accurate records.
- Meet the personal and practical needs of patients and families, demonstrating empathy and compassion.
- Continuously develop your skills and knowledge, participating in performance improvement activities and educating others as needed.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
- Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification or equivalent.
- Certificate or vocational school graduate in a related field.
