Asset Risk Management Specialist

PacifiCorp is seeking a highly skilled Asset Risk Program Manager to join our team. As a key member of the Asset Risk Organization, you will play a critical role in identifying, quantifying, and developing mitigation strategies for risks to electric transmission and distribution assets. Your expertise will help us achieve strategic objectives within an integrated risk strategy.
About the Role
This full-time position requires a minimum of 7 years of utility experience in engineering, operations, or business planning. You will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and manage implementation of operational and engineering risk mitigation programs. Key responsibilities include preparing a risk strategy for electric system resilience, interfacing with executives to communicate progress, and supporting regulatory activities by writing testimony and responding to data requests.
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Environmental Policy, Sustainability, Energy Resilience, or a related field. A Master's degree and Project Management Professional (PMP) certification are also highly desirable. You must have demonstrated knowledge of the electric utility risk environment, including wildfire risk, climatological risk, and natural disaster risk. Excellent management, leadership, and communication skills are essential for this role. Estimated salary: $125,000 - $175,000 per year.
