Product Line Manager - Fragrance Market Expert

The Product Line Manager - Fragrance Market Expert plays a pivotal role in driving business growth at Silgan Dispensing. This individual will collaborate with colleagues from various regions and functions to expand the business. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Market Analysis and Strategy: Obtain a deep understanding of the North American Fragrance market to develop a market strategy and identify growth opportunities.
  • Product Line Management: Clear product positioning within the SDS fragrance portfolio, detailed understanding of costs per product, margin enhancement, capacity control, and recommendations for expansion.
  • Support Sales Team: Creation of value propositions and messaging, support on standard price strategy and updating, generation and updating of sales tools, customer visits and presentations, execution of trade show activities, and training.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) or higher from a four-year college or university.
  • Four (4) plus years related experience in the Fragrance, Beauty, Personal Care, and/or Packaging Industry.
  • Eight to ten years of Product Line Management experience.
  • High proficiency in English and Excel is required.
  • French is a plus but not mandatory.
  • SAP is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Travel up to 25%: Focus will be to multiple customers/plants/trade shows. Possible intercontinental travel.
