Key Responsibilities:

  • Job Exploration Counseling: Provide job shadows, mock interviews, interest inventories, resume writing, and other career development services to students.
  • Work-Based Learning Experiences: Facilitate internships, job shadows, and other work-based learning opportunities to help students gain practical skills and experience.
  • Counseling on Opportunities: Assist students in exploring college options, completing college applications, and researching colleges online.
  • Workplace Readiness Training: Deliver training on financial literacy, transportation, housing, and social skills to prepare students for the workforce.
  • Self-Advocacy Instruction: Teach students how to advocate for accommodations or assistive technology to ensure equal access to employment opportunities.

Requirements:

  • A reliable vehicle is necessary for this position, and applicants must be insurable under our company policy.
  • Mileage reimbursement is offered.
  • Pay begins at $18.75/hour, increasing to $19.00/hour after a successful completion of our 90-day orientation period.
  • Full benefits are offered, including medical, dental, vision, employer-paid life insurance, accidental death and dismemberment, long-term disability insurance, and a 403(b) Tax Deferred Retirement Plan.
  • 20 days of PTO in the first year, increasing to 25 days of PTO in the second year.
