Job Summary

As a key member of the Texas Southmost College team, the Enrollment Services Coordinator will play a vital role in developing innovative enrollment advising sessions that cater to the diverse needs of our student population. This position requires collaboration with the Executive Director of Strategic Enrollment and the Coordinator of Student Recruitment - New Student Outreach to create a comprehensive communication plan that utilizes student information systems and the CRM platform. The successful candidate will work closely with Admissions and Records to provide guidance to College Enrollment Coaches on document processing and ensure seamless student onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement standard operating procedures for College Enrollment Coaches to provide information and assistance to prospective and new students and their families regarding the enrollment process and procedures.

Collaborate with the Office of Financial Aid to schedule trainings for College Enrollment Coaches on the financial aid application and submission of proper documentation utilizing the Self-Service platform.

Maintain and evaluate CRM reports to increase the matriculation of applicants to enrolled students.

Work collaboratively with the Coordinator of Student Success to transition enrolled students after the census day of each term, introducing them to their new Student Success Coach.

Stay up-to-date on best practices, emerging trends, and new legislation relating to Admissions, Records, recruitment, and advising to ensure the team is equipped to provide exceptional service.

Develop partnerships with various College departments to ensure College Enrollment Coaches accurately inform students about College support services, resources, and curricular and co-curricular offerings.

Establish and maintain relationships with academic, career, and technical program directors and department chairs to support and maintain current program expectations and knowledge of all degree and certificate programs.

Develop and coordinate informative and inspiring traditional and online orientation programs for new and transfer students and their families, collaborating with College departments to ensure accurate delivery of information in orientation sessions.

Assist with commencement exercises and contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of related policies and procedures in collaboration with the College Student Services functional area.

Maintain accountability for meeting FERPA and other relevant federal, state, and College's student records directives and procedures.

Attend the workplace regularly, report to work punctually, and follow a work schedule to meet the demands of the worksite.

Complete duties and responsibilities in compliance with college standards, policies, and guidelines.

Utilize interpersonal skills and make sound judgments to decide how duties and responsibilities are completed between coworkers, the supervisory chain, faculty, staff, students, and customers.

Complete all required training and professional development sessions sponsored by Texas Southmost College (TSC).

Support the values and institutional goals as defined in the College's Strategic Plan.

Work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, or weekends, as required by deadline or special events.

Serve on committees as appropriate and as appointed by supervisor.

Promote positive morale and teamwork within the department and provide exceptional customer service to students, faculty, and community.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with at least two years of experience in sales, advising, recruitment, or marketing in higher education or related industries, or an associate's degree from an accredited college or university with three (3) years of experience in sales, advising, recruitment, or marketing in higher education or related industries.

Must have knowledge and experience with admissions-related rules and regulations in a higher education setting.

Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual in English-Spanish.

Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
