Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in Production Management, preferably within the seafood sector
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of 10 or more employees
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
  • Exceptional leadership and communication capabilities
  • Proficient in computer applications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and engage in daily production activities from processing to distribution, adhering to company policies, procedures, and budgetary constraints while achieving set goals and timelines
  • Lead a diverse processing team of up to 20 individuals, promoting positive employee relations and managing compensation and leave
  • Collaborate with the management team to oversee the production budget
  • Administer the shellfish tagging process to guarantee precise information, sufficient inventory, user training, and waste reduction
  • Conduct daily monitoring of the seawater system and promptly report any issues to the Maintenance Technician
  • Oversee daily ice production
  • Implement and enforce the HACCP plan to maintain quality standards
  • Adhere to and enforce OSHA regulations to ensure workplace safety
  • Manage inventory and shipping through computer-based systems
