We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Grain Origination Specialist to join our team at Archer Daniels Midland Company. As a key member of our origination team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with producers, identifying opportunities for grain origination, and executing sales and marketing strategies to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with producers to secure grain origination opportunities
  • Identify and evaluate potential grain origination opportunities, including farm direct grain origination and sales and marketing strategies
  • Execute sales and marketing strategies to meet business objectives, including developing and implementing sales plans and managing customer relationships
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with business objectives and strategies
  • Provide market analysis and insights to support business decisions
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in grain origination or a related field
  • Strong understanding of grain markets, grain contracting alternatives, production agriculture, and the application of those to the producer
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with producers and internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on results and customer satisfaction
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment
